Corporate Profile – Management Team – Roderick G. Dougherty

Roderick G. Dougherty is a co-founder with Gregory Colford and Douglas Shinobu and President and Principal of Carlisle Capital Structures Corporation in its present undertaking.  He has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development since its incorporation in 1999.

Mr. Dougherty began his career in 1970 at a mid-size Toronto law firm where he soon made partner.  Specializing in real estate and owner-operator business law, Mr. Dougherty developed a significant real estate practice.  In the 1990’s Mr. Dougherty conducted large scale real estate “workouts” on behalf of Zurich Insurance.  This project included direct recovery efforts, property management, construction and risk exposure minimization.

Mr. Dougherty is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.  His expertise in risk assessment and underwriting has been recognized by CMHC and others in the real estate industry.
